Managing items in a channel is crucial for ensuring that the right product data gets exported to the right destination—accurately and on time. This guide walks you through the key features of the main page where items are managed for a specific channel. It covers everything from setting up rules to control item inclusion to navigating the interface for reviewing, filtering, and managing those items.
Keeping your channel exports clean and accurate means occasionally removing items that are no longer needed. How you delete items depends entirely on how they were added—Static Lists give you full control, while Smart Lists require an extra step.
When setting up a channel in the platform, you need to define which items should be included. This is done using rules—either Static Lists or Smart Lists—which determine how products are selected and added to the channel. Using rules helps automate the export process and ensures only the right items are sent to your receivers.
Channels XQL filters are the advanced version of the basic filtering system in the Xyxle platform. They allow users to define highly specific product selections using a custom query format. If you need more control over your item filtering—especially when dealing with detailed product data—XQL is the way to go. This guide walks you through how to use it efficiently.
